Dried fruit compote - a dessert without which we can not imagine Christmas.

Not only that, it will smell great on apples, plums, pears, cinnamon and cloves, and it will also help you digest food faster after Christmas Eve.

Take a look at the recipe.

Ingredients:

200 gr. prunes

100 gr. dried apples

100 gr. dried apricots

100 gr. raisin

100 gr. dried figs

5-6 cloves

1 orange

2 cinnamon sticks

2 liters of water

honey - to taste

Preparation:

Wash the fruit. Put it in a pot. Pour cold water together with the spices. Bring to the boil. Cook over low heat for about 20-25 minutes - not too long for the fruit to retain its beautiful shape. Then add the oranges cut into thicker pieces. When the compote reaches room temperature, season it with honey to taste. Serve the dried fruit compote at room temperature or nicely cooled.
