Beautiful Tuscany

Siena is best known for the horse race known as Palio, which is held twice a year, on July 2 and August 16. It is a horse race in which ten representatives from the Sien Quarters or the so-called contrade participate. The winning district celebrates its victory with a banquet until the early hours of the morning.

The Tuscan region is also known as the heart of Italian cuisine. Tuscany is also called the land between the sea and the slopes due to its location and climatic features. The kitchen is generally rustic and simple with lots of aromas and spices, based on what the country offers. There are no pompous dishes that are difficult and painful to prepare.
