Is there a dish that is most easily
recognizable as the taste of Hungary? For many, the answer is paprikash. Real,
homemade old-fashioned paprikash is recognized for ingredients such as red
potatoes, homemade dried sausages (chicken or pork), very little spice and cooking method.
This is the most important thing for the paprikash to make and look just like
Grandma's.
This delicious meal is over in 45 minutes. So,
you will have time to devote to your family or to rest.
Required ingredients:
300 gr. chicken or pork sausages
1 kg of potatoes
1 dl. oil
1 carrot
1 tomatoe
250 ml. homemade tomato paste or you can buy it from the store
2 bulbs garlic
1 green pepper
parsley
ground pepper
salt
Way of preparation
On hot oil fry the finely chopped garlic, add
the carrot cut into circles, pepper, sausages and salt to taste. Then add half a
glass of water and mix while pouring the water. When the meat is half cooked, add
the tomato puree, potato and tomato slices, add half a liter of water and cook
until ready(until boiled).
Remove the boiled paprikash from the heat and
add the parsley and pepper.
